Title: How to Edit Your Photos Like a Pro in Lightroom and Photoshop

Description: In this live webcast with Matt Kloskowski, you’ll learn some great techniques for editing your photos in Lightroom and when to jump over to Photoshop to help out. This will be a late beginner to early intermediate level presentation, but really… it's just about having some fun with your photos and improving your editing during this time indoors.

1) This is absolutely free. All you need to do is sign up. Each person in the club needs to sign up.
2) This will be recorded but you’ll need to sign up to get the recording (even if you can’t watch live you’ll still get it)
3) Mark your calendars, but the system will automatically send you reminder notifications too.
4) You’ll be able to enter the webcast room about 15-20 minutes before the webcast starts.
5) There will be an area for Q&A once you log in to the live webcast on the day of your webinar.

Hi, and thanks for responding. Please forgive the informality here in the copy/paste response. The response has been about 10 times what I expected, so try to reply to this with a proposed date/time ASAP.

Here’s the deal…

First and foremost, this requires nothing more than a web browser from your and your club members. No software to install, etc… I’ve done these for the least computer savvy folks possible, and it’s simple and easy. They receive a link and visit that link at the time of the webcast. If they can type, they can chat or ask a question. Or just sit back and watch… That’s it.

Camera clubs obviously can’t meet right now and I’ve been contacted by many to see if there’s something I can set up for them. At first, I just pointed most people to the online webinars I’ve been doing for the last couple of weeks. But then it hit me… the biggest part of a camera club is being around the other people in your club. The intimacy, familiarity and friendships that you’ve built get lost in a large online webcast with many hundreds or even thousands of people chatting and jockeying to ask questions.

I realized that I have a 90 minute Lightroom and Photoshop presentation that I’ve done live for several camera clubs this year and they have all LOVED it. I’ve gotten great reviews from all of them. But it’s not just about the presentation… it’s about being able to ask questions if something doesn’t make sense.

So I thought, why not give that presentation to camera clubs online. I’ve done this for camera clubs before who meet live, and then stream my presentation with me live online during the meeting. But that involves some tech and logistics during the live meeting that are difficult to set up.

But everyone is home now and has internet and a web browser. I do online webcasts all the time and I’m already set up for it. So why not use those resources for a smaller more intimate camera club meeting too? I use Vimeo Live, which honestly, I find better and more options for interaction than Zoom which is what most people are using now.

If you think this would be a fit for your group, here’s how it’ll work.

1.    We pick a date/time that will work for your club. Since everyone is at home right now, I don’t think it needs to be at the normal club meeting date/time and even if you’ve got something planned, I think there’s room for more than one meeting in a month. I think many people are past the first couple weeks where this was… well… interesting and different.
Now people are starting to get down right restless, so let’s do this sooner than later. I’m in Tampa, FL (Eastern Daylight Time: GMT-4). So any time from 8am to 8pm will work for me. But we can talk if that doesn’t work for your time zone and try to figure something out.

2.    Once we do that, we send out a sign-up page for your group with a link, etc...

3.    Everyone gets the live link where they can watch online and ask questions live. Unless it’s a massive group (500+), I usually don’t end it until I’ve answered every question.

4.    Everyone who signed up in Step 2 (even if they didn’t watch live) will also receive a replay of the webcast.

Of course this is free for your group. I’m not asking to be paid. I think the win/win is that your club gets a more personal meeting. Let's face it. EVERYONE is doing free stuff right now. But at least this way, your club actually gets to ask questions and be more interactive and is only online with each other - the same people they’re used to being in a meeting with.

On my side of things, all I ask is that for 2-3 minutes at some point I can mention some of my courses and that there's a discount right now for those staying indoors. It won't be a big "sell" and if you know me, you know I don't do that. This will be a learning packed 90 minutes.

Next steps… pick a date time. Here’s a link to a calendar I’ve set up:
https://calendly.com/mattkloskowski/matt-kloskowski-live-webcast

I’ll receive a notification and we’ll set up the online event and web page so people can sign up. You’ll receive a link to send to everyone and that’s it! Our system will take care of reminders, as well as giving them the online link to join when the event begins (they’ll be able to join 30 minutes before and even chat and ask questions then).

Of course let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!
- Matt
