We will meet by the West Door at 1020. Bring your cameras as after the tour may provide a great opportunity to take some images to enter in the Abbey Callender 'competition'. The more we have for the Abbey Staff to choose from the better (landscape format).

Thu 12 Dec 2024 - Members Evening - Open Forum including Auction
The auction will provide an opportunity for members to sell items of equipment they no longer use and some items which have been given to the club. The usual format is that we will ask members for details of equipment they are submitting for sale so that a list can be produced. A percentage or prescribed amount of each item sold by members will be payable to the club (details will be confirmed near the time of the auction) and the balance to the owner. Obviously if you are feeling generous the whole amount can be donated to the club!

This meeting will be held at Selby Library.
With the ever increasing interest in film photography it will be interesting to explore the benefits of both digital and film. Many of us remember the anticipation of waiting to collect the photos or have them delivered to see what we had taken on our film, others will have printed their own images which provides a different perspective.
