Programme

This is round 2 of 3 of the points competition. Nigel is a well known judge at Selby and tonight he will be giving feedback on the images and results of this round.

The auction will provide an opportunity for members to sell items of equipment they no longer use and some items which have been given to the club. The usual format is that we will ask members for details of equipment they are submitting for sale so that a list can be produced. A percentage or prescribed amount of each item sold by members will be payable to the club (details will be confirmed near the time of the auction) and the balance to the owner. Obviously if you are feeling generous the whole amount can be donated to the club!

Critique 3 Opens - Open Subject

This meeting will be held at Selby Library.

With the ever increasing interest in film photography it will be interesting to explore the benefits of both digital and film. Many of us remember the anticipation of waiting to collect the photos or have them delivered to see what we had taken on our film, others will have printed their own images which provides a different perspective.

Points Competition Round 3 of 3 Closes for entries

Selby won the trophy on many occasions but has not been quite so successful recently. May be this year. A chance to see the images entered by all the clubs and discuss the scores. Will we agree with the judge?

Erica will be making comment and judging the entries.  In November we saw Erica's images now she will be looking at ours.

Due to the closure of BCC on this night we will be holding the meeting on Zoom.

Paul is an accomplished underwater diver and photographer.  He has volunteered to show some of his images and discuss the compexities in diving and taking underwater images.

As we are planning to include trips in the Cafe Forum Programme this date has been left open as it will provide some flexibility to move some of the trips that are weather dependent but there will a Forum either in the Library or somewhere taking photographs. More information nearer the time.

Annual Projected Digital Images (PDI's) competition opens for entries - all images will also be shown at the Annual Exhibition in Selby Abbey.

The Albany Exchange is our annual competition with the the Albany Camera Club in Australia.  Tonights meeting will look at all the images entered and the judges results.
